Spitalgasse

Spitalgasse is a little pedestrian street full of cafes across from Zurich's Central Library, of the sort that old Europe downtowns do so effortlessly. Chronologically, this is the first print from the Zurich algorithm. To capture enough detail to set the mood but still leave a sense of mystery, I applied the algorithm at two different levels in different areas of the scene.

This print is executed as archival pigment print on fine-art paper. All prints are signed on the face and printed with a half inch border, so the size of the paper is 1" larger than the print on each dimension.
